SA40
The SA40 is a small handy ultrasonic thickness gauge for determining wall thicknesses. The intelligent device is capable of measuring a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials such as: iron, steel, aluminum, brass, copper, lead, magnesium, nickel, titanium, zinc, beryllium, molybdenum, quartz glass, Pyrex glass, plexiglass, nylon, polyethylene, polystyrene, silicon, and many more.
The use of different probes ensures optimal flexibility. This allows measurements to be taken in hard-to-reach areas or at extreme temperatures. By monitoring the wall thickness, materials exposed to corrosion or erosion can be controlled, ensuring the safe use of, for example, a pressure vessel.
