Hardness tester TH-110/TIME®5300
Leeb hardness tester TIME®5300 with integrated printer

TH-110/TIME®5300

The TIME®5300 (TH-110) hardness tester is a basic and economical Leeb hardness tester for mobile use. It offers a wide measuring range and delivers accurate results, because operation is clear and simple. Therefore, it is suitable for testing the hardness of all metallic materials. Above all, it is widely used in the petroleum and chemical industries, in mechanical engineering and in the electric power industry.

With seven optional impact devices, almost all ferrous and non-ferrous metals can be tested, because the device identifies each impact device automatically. The standard impact device type D is included in the scope of delivery. In addition, measurement is possible in any direction (360°), even with the impact device pointing upwards.

The display shows all important values at a glance. Moreover, the integrated printer prints the readings directly, so that you can document the results immediately.

Features of the TIME®5300

  • simple menu-guided operation
  • conversion of the common hardness scales (HL, HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HS) as well as conversion into tensile strength
  • display with all important values: reading, mean value (MEAN), number of measurements (NO.), date, impact direction and material
  • In addition, the device identifies 7 optional impact devices automatically; the standard impact device type D is included in the scope of delivery.
  • measuring direction 360°, even with the impact device pointing upwards
  • The integrated printer prints the readings directly, so that you can document them immediately.
  • software calibration function for readjusting the device
  • Moreover, the device has a charge indicator, easy battery replacement and auto power off.

Applications of the TIME®5300

  • measurements on steel, cast steel, forged steel, cold work tool steel, stainless steel, grey and nodular cast iron, cast aluminium alloys, brass, bronze and wrought copper alloys
  • used, among others, in the petroleum and chemical industries, mechanical engineering and the electric power industry
  • fast, mobile hardness testing directly on site
