
SRTPro Plus
The Split-TYPE roughness tester SRT Pro Plus is a high-precision instrument for measuring surface roughness. It is suitable for determining the roughness of a variety of machined parts, including flat, inclined, and external cylindrical surfaces, as well as curved surfaces, small holes, and grooves.
The various probes are suitable for both metal and non-metal parts, especially for machined parts in the manufacturing industry. It is frequently used for measuring the roughness of small workpieces and for on-site inspection of large workpieces. This device is ideal for testing, quality control, and final inspections in various departments.
Properties
- Measurement type: The measurement unit can either be integrated directly into the main device or operated separately with a connecting cable.
- Measurement range:
- Y-axis: 320 μm (−160 μm to +160 μm)
- X-axis: 17.5 mm - Data storage: Capacity for 100 measurements.
- Display: Large, easy-to-read 3.5-inch TFT display (480 × 320 pixels) with wide viewing angle. Displays numerous pieces of information such as battery status, device status, stylus position, measurement settings, and more.
- Interfaces: Bluetooth connectivity to printers or Android devices. PC software for transferring measurement data to a PC or laptop via the supplied cable.
- Real-time waveform: Synchronized display of the measurement curve during acquisition.
- Standard sensor: axis type sensor – suitable for approximately 90% of all applications.
- Processor: DSP chip with high processing speed and low power consumption.
- Optional accessories: Curved sensor, sensor for very small holes, measuring stand, extension rod, printer, etc.
Measurement principle
During the measurement process, the sensor is moved linearly along the probing path. The probe follows the profile of the probing path and moves up and down. These movements are converted into electrical signals, which are then amplified, filtered, and converted into digital values using an A/D converter. Based on these values, a mathematical representation of the profile is created using a microprocessor. Based on this representation, the Ra and Rz values (or Rq and Rt values) are then calculated according to the relevant standards and displayed on the screen.
