Ultrasonic Hardness Tester TIME®5630
Ultrasonic hardness tester based on the UCI method with Vickers diamond indenter

TIME®5630

The TIME®5630 is a professional ultrasonic hardness tester based on the UCI method (Ultrasonic Contact Impedance) with a Vickers diamond indenter. It produces only a microscopic indentation while delivering precise, highly repeatable readings – even on thin-walled workpieces, hardened surface layers and delicate components. Automatic 360° measurement without directional compensation makes the device particularly suitable for complex geometries and hard-to-reach locations.

Properties

  • 3.5" colour LCD display with statistics function (max., min., average, standard deviation)
  • Vickers diamond indenter, selectable test force: 10N / 20N / 50N
  • Multiple hardness scales: HV, HB, HRC, HRB
  • 360° measurement without directional compensation
  • Built-in 8 GB data storage for extensive measurement series
  • Programmable limit values with audible alarm
  • Rechargeable lithium-ion battery, > 30 hours of continuous operation
  • Calibrated as standard for steel and cast steel, further materials optional

Applications

Hardness testing on gears, turbine blades and rotors, shafts, pipes, flanges, welds, and mold and tool steel – suitable for manufacturing, heat treatment, aerospace, power generation, tool making and quality control.
