High-Performance Ultrasonic Measurement Device with A/B-Scan

TIME®2190

The TIME®2190 is a portable high-performance instrument by TIME Group Inc. (Beijing, China) for non-destructive wall thickness measurement and corrosion testing. It operates on the pulse-reflection principle and enables precise measurements on technical materials such as metals, plastics, composites, fiberglass, ceramics, and glass.

Properties

  • A-scan waveform display for echo analysis
  • Compatible with single and dual-element transducers
  • Echo-to-echo mode for true metal thickness determination
  • Thru-coat technology: simultaneous measurement of metal and coating thickness
  • Automatic signal gain
  • B-scan single-value display
  • Fast measurement mode: up to 20 readings/second
  • Data storage for 500,000 measurement values and waveforms

Applications

By using wall thickness gauges, materials that are exposed to corrosion or erosion can be monitored, ensuring the safe use of, for example, a pressure vessel.
