Hardness tester TIME®5150
Leeb hardness tester TIME®5150 – compact, with Bluetooth and OLED display

TIME®5150

The TIME®5150 hardness tester is an extremely compact, integrated Leeb hardness tester (rebound method) with impact device type D. It is lightweight, easy to carry and can be operated with one hand. The instrument identifies the impact direction automatically, so measurement is possible in any direction (360°).

In addition, the TIME®5150 converts the readings into the common hardness scales (HL, HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HRA, HS) as well as into tensile strength and stores 100 groups of data. With comparison measurements, you can create your own hardness conversion table for customised materials.

The high-contrast OLED display shows all important values at a glance. Moreover, the instrument sends the readings wirelessly to a printer via Bluetooth, and the battery is conveniently charged via a Type-C connector.

Features of the TIME®5150

  • compact, lightweight unit with integrated impact device type D, one-handed operation
  • conversion of the common hardness scales (HL, HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HRA, HS) and of tensile strength
  • 128 × 64 dot-matrix OLED display with high contrast and plenty of information
  • customised materials: own hardness conversion table via comparison measurements (5 materials)
  • automatic identification of common impact directions (360°)
  • memory for 100 groups of measurement averages
  • upper and lower hardness limits can be preset, with tolerance indication for series testing
  • software calibration
  • Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless output of the readings to a Bluetooth printer
  • connection to the TIME app via Bluetooth (instrument version 2.1 or above)
  • automatic power-off, time adjustable or can be disabled
  • built-in rechargeable lithium battery with Type-C charging

Applications of the TIME®5150

  • fast, mobile hardness testing of metallic materials directly on site
  • hardness testing of series parts with preset limits and tolerance indication
  • testing at hard-to-reach locations thanks to the compact design and one-handed operation
  • documentation of the readings via a Bluetooth printer

Additional equipment for the TIME®5150

  • Support rings for measurements on curved surfaces
  • Bluetooth printer for printing the measurement data
